We have recently cloned the following new marine luciferases:
These Are Brighter & Better!

Gaussia, Pleuromamma, and Renilla mullerei luciferases.
These NanoLight® proteins all use coelenterazine and coelenterazine derivatives as substrate. We are currently in the process of analyzing the activity of these new proteins. We know that the Gaussia and Renilla proteins express well in bacteria, and that the Gaussia protein expresses well in mammalian cells. All of these NanoLight® proteins are sodium dependent. As more information becomes available, it will be published here.

Cat#202 pCMV-Gluc-1 Humanized Gaussia luciferase with secretion signal . This positive control vector is very useful in evaluating the efficiency of transgene expression using Gaussia luciferase as a reporter. This vector has both Ampicillin resistance and Neomycin resistance. Therefore it can be easily propagated in E. coli and can be used to establish stable cell lines expressing Gaussia luciferase. 25ug $325.00 download now
Cat#203 pGluc-basic-1 A promoterless vector with a MCS site upstream of the humanized Gaussia luciferase coding sequence (with secretion signal). This vector is designed for promoter analysis and will express secreted Gaussia luciferase. 25ug $325.00 download now
Cat#204 pUC19 R.M. Luc Native Renilla Mullerei Luciferase, 25ug $325.00 download now
Cat#205 pUC-19 Ple-Luc Native Pleuromamma Luciferase, 25ug $325.00 download now
Cat# 206 pCMV-KDEL-Gluc-1 Humanized Gaussia luciferase with C-terminal KDEL endoplasmic reticulum retention signal for intracellular expression. The KDEL sequence is an endoplasmic reticulum retention signal which causes retention of the Gaussia luciferase in the endoplasmic reticulum and results in high levels of intracellular luciferase expression. 25ug $325.00 download now
Cat#207 pGLuc-KDEL-Basic-1 Humanized Gaussia Luciferase, promoterless; designed for insertion of your own promoters, comes with C-terminal KDEL endoplasmic retention signal for intracellular expression. 25ug $325.00 download now
Cat#209 pCMV- Gluc minus SS Humanized Gaussia luciferase without secretion signal . This positive control vector is very useful in evaluating the efficiency of intracellular transgene expression using Gaussia luciferase as a reporter. Also, this vector is useful for fusing Gluc to a specific protein of interest. This vector has both Ampicillin resistance and Neomycin resistance. Therefore it can be easily propagated in E. coli and can be used to establish stable cell lines expressing Gaussia luciferase. 25ug $325.00 download now

Cat#319 GAR1 This reagent is used for measurement of Gaussia luciferase in applications when the luciferase activity is measured immediately after addition of the assay reagent to the luciferase containing supernatant. This reagent can be used for assaying gaussia luciferase or renilla luciferase activity in cell-supernatants or in cell lysates. This reagent is compatible for measuring luciferase activity in cells lysed with either the lysis buffer from Targeting Systems or the Promega RLAR lysis buffer or passive lysis buffers. 50 milliliters $350.00 download now
Cat#320 GAR-2 Gaussia luciferase assay reagents for high throughput applications requiring a stable bioluminescent signal in the first 15-30 minutes of the assay. The bioluminescent signal using this assay reagent is stable for the first 15 minutes and then declines slowly. The half life of the bioluminescent signal is 30 minutes. The intensity of the bioluminescent signal is lesser than that obtained with the GAR-1 reagent because of the effect of stabilizers in the GAR-2 reagent. 50 milliliters $350.00 download now
